The Italian Peninsula is known for beautiful warm weather perfect for outdoor cooking. The Relais Villa Olmo is pleased to introduce our Italian Sunday Barbecue events, which will be available for lunch and dinner. Resort guests are invited to attend, but the barbecue is open to external customers as well. Whether you are joining us for a week or just a day by the pool, our delicious Sunday barbecue is not to be missed.
Our chefs will join guests outdoors and prepare dishes inspired by centuries of culinary tradition. Ingredients are fresh, with organic produce harvested from our on-site garden. Traditionally called “grigliata” the barbecue tradition is inspired from summer-style Mediterranean cooking techniques. The barbeque tradition combines fresh vegetables, locally-sourced meats, herbs, citrus and famous Italian olive oil into sublime summer meals cooked over an open flame.
The Sunday barbeque menu
- Mixed grill with a selection of 4 types of quality meat
- Two side dishes to choose from: fresh vegetables from our kitchen garden, “fagioli all’uccelletto” (beans in tomato sauce)or grilled vegetables
Alternatively it is possible to order the classic Fiorentina at € 4 a pound with separate side dish.
In addition, the menu of the day during lunch and the delicious à la carte menu during dinner will be available.
